Since 1933, the United Hospital Auxiliaries of New South Wales Incorporated, through various local Auxiliaries, has been responding to the needs of health facilities and community health facilities, throughout this State.

Structure of OrganisationThere are twelve Regional Representatives and every year a vote is taken for a State President, a Deputy State President and a State Treasurer. Each of the twelve representatives from the Central Executive Committee are entitled to vote on matters raised. There is also a representative from the Health Department who is NOT a voting member of the Central Executive Committee. Award SystemOur award system includes trophies, certificates, life memberships, service badges and appreciation certificates. FunctionsAll individual auxiliaries are autonomous and raise monies only in their own area. This money can be for either equipment or services, or both. The RegionsThe regions are Central West, Hunter, Illawarra, Metropolitan, Murray, New England, North Coast, Orana/Far West, Riverina, South Eastern, West Metropolitan. State ConferencesState Conferences are held in Sydney every second year and in country New South Wales every other year. Regional Conferences and Zone DaysRegional Conferences are held every three years and zone days are held annually. |
